Hi Hannia, I would like to ask for your help in researching my family history, lineage, and pedigree. I tracked down some offical US recods, ss5 etc, census records etc.

Great Grandfather: John Derkack, birthplace Zsuko Transcarpathian, Kozi Bereg County, (Zukovo) Birth year 1891/1892 - 1974, immigrated to the united states 1912. Lived in Rahway NJ. Married Mary Kosty at St John Church in Perth Amboy NJ.(Greek Catholic / Ruthenian)

Great Grandmother: Mary Kosty, 1896 - 1986, born in Kal"nyk (Kalnik), Transcarpathia, (Beregsarret), Austria Hungary/ now in Modern Day Ukraine. I am sure the surname was modified during immigration. Birth year 11896 / 1897, posible immigrated to the united states 1912, (Greek Catholic / Ruthenian) I can not locate any immigration records.

I have many documents uploaded on geni.com a free website. Search under (Michael Thomas Daly).

    Hi Hannia,
I hope all is well with you and yours. I am hoping you can help me in my pursuit to find more historical information for Glinitsa, Kitsman raion, Chernivetska oblast. I have had limited success in finding information. I have written a letter to the village mayor, and will ask my family, but while waiting for replies thought I would also ask you for help in pointing me in the right direction for any online resources. As always, your help would be/is much appreciated. Best regards, Karen

    Dear Hannia,

i have found your posts about research for the families in Nanczulka Welyka.

I`m looking for any entries about family with surname - Suchar, from Nanczulka.

I just have one person for now - Irena nee Suchar, born 20-04-1897, in Nanczulka.

Do you have any records from that town, or maybe any records of surname Suchar in Nanczulka, or records of familiy of Irena Suchar?

I will be grateful for any answer and help in this case.

    Best regards,

    Marcin

In reading the metrical books, the early entries (late 1700-1800) used the expression Pracowitz. Do you know what that means? A pperson working in the Polish archives in Warsaw thought it meant "employee or worker". What do you think?

my name is Liuda, I'm from Kherson, Ukraine, but now I'm in Missouri, the USA, as an exchange student for my summer work. I've never heard about this web site before, until my American friend told me about it. She said that I really can help with searching somebody's relatives or some documents in Ukraine. But I don't understand how everything works...I read that you had helped a lot of people to find information, so can you explain me, please, what I need to do for it, because I really want to help...If you don't mind, you can contact me: my email: lazykova90@mail.ru.

    Thanks in advance,
    Liuda.
