What are some famous Ukrainian authors, artists, and directors and some of the materials they have created?

Everybody say Taras so I'll say:

Lesya Ukrainka.

Ukrainka is the pseudonym of LARISA PETROVNA KOSACH-KVITKA, poet, dramatist, short-story writer, essayist, and critic who was the foremost woman writer in Ukrainian literature and a leading figure in its modernist movement.

Her early lyrical verse, influenced by 'Taras Shevchenko', dealt with the poet's loneliness and social alienation and was informed by a love of freedom, especially national freedom.

Henry Lion Oldie:
2 authors from KHarkov -
Dmitriy Gromov $ Oleg Ladyzhenskiy.

authors of 'Oddisey son of Laert', 'The hero must be alone', 'living the last time', 'rebels from heaven', 'the way of sword' etc.

Both Oldie and Diachenko are of the best phisolophical fantasy writers i ever read.

You can buy their books on www.ozon.ru
(if you read Russian). There were books of Diachenko in Ukrainian - 'бiДЭНЛЯЙЮ ДНАЮ', 'нЯЙНК', 'лiЯРЕПiЮ вЮЯС' published 2000 by the house Calvaria - Lviv, but i don't know where you can find them in inet.

Oldie also had some Ukrainian language publication - but all were piracy books. I don't know there to buy them.

Everyone seems to be content with Mr. Taras being the greatest mind of Ukraina, but what about the works he was produced? Anyone?
