"SACRED SEDUCTION" is the best selling novel of Bisi Ojediran a Nigerian novelist, playwright and essayist.

The novel is based on the adventures of Peter Abel, a 38 year old Nigerian Journalist who is always looking for breaking news for The Zodiac newspaper. Peter Abel is also a playboy as already depicted in "The Governor"s Wife" the sequel to "Sacred Seduction".

This novel is one the best adventure novels written by an African in Africa and the novelist Bisi Ojediran has one of the best editors in the world editing his books before they are published. Sol Stein, who has also edited the works of James Baldwin and his literary advisor is Laurie Rosin, editor of 36 US National Bestsellers. Therefore you can read his novels without the headaches of bad English and typographical errors.

The story of "Sacred Seduction" is the drama of the political ploy of some foreign investors to tame the President of an African democratic country. Bisi Ojediran talks about the fall of the USSR masterminded by America and her allies and how America now dominates the rest of the world and is apprehensive of the rising profile of China as an emerging Super Power that can challenge the might of America. The CIA, MOSSAD and other intelligence agencies featured in the intrigues of the "Sacred Seduction" of Bisi Ojediran. He also talked about the contrasts of Christianity and Islam in the partition of Africa.

You have to read the "Sacred Seduction" for the details of the Western Super Powers' Art of Political Seduction of an African country.

It is a highly readable novel and you can finish reading it within four hours. It is only 317 pages long.
Here is an extract from the novel.

"And certainly you shouldn't do a story on me-not if you don't want to send wrong signals out to the world. Hope you remember the circumstances under which Peter Arnet left CNN. Abel, you must believe that I love this country as much as you do. And Abel?"
"Yes, Tam."
"I love you."
