American movie about Ukraine

When you watch the ukrainian movie or russian about history of any country, you can be shur, that everything in it -is thrugh. What about american movie? Are they just lazy to work out all facts on movie or what? If I whant to see some introsting history movie I take the ukrainian movi.
I like american movie, I like fantasy, but not the lie...
