Ukrainian Theatre

Hello,
I will be moving to Ukraine in September. I am an American and will be helping to teach the English language with the U.S. government sponsored Peace Corps program. It will be a two-year commitment. I am very much interested in the theatre of Ukraine and Russia. If anyone has any general information on the lively art of theatre in Ukraine please reply. Someone mentioned the orphanage performance in Kiev which I found particularly exciting. My Ukrainian is limited but while immersing myself in your culture I expect to be conversant soon. Thank you in advance for any theatre information.
