My favorite cartoon character was Fivel the mouse from the original American tale. I watched that movie and sang along with it about a hundred times when I was young.

I have never heard of Benny the Ball, but I am curious for more information.

Was boss cat a cartoon from the states or from Australasia?
And do the Aussie/Kiwi toons have accents too?

My fave cartoon had to be Tin Tin. By far.

Benny The Ball

Hi Jetty,

Boss Cat if from the States. They are a cartoon tribute Phil Silvers & Sgt Bilko (a Ukrainian maybe )

http://www.dfcom.freeserve.co.uk/hbw/topcat/

A web-site that is a total must, I has just found it & will be workin' until midnight now

From the website

Cute, short, cuddly Benny The Ball wouldn't hurt a fly. He may have short legs, but he can keep up with the rest of the gang when they need to flee Officer Dibble. Benny's character is closely based on Dwane Doberman, the chubby, ugly, innocent solider from The Phil Silvers Show.

If cartoons is set in this area then they is in our accent but like the rest of the world then tend to come from Hanna-Barbera (?)

Love the NZman

Lilly is on a distinguished road
Talking What's up Doc?

I like Bugs Bunny. He always outsmarts Daffy Bill, I mean Duck and Elmer Fudd.

They say that a person most resembles the cartoon character they most like.

I have a weird time picturing NZman as Benny the Ball! hehehe

Heheh that's actually a fairly insightful observation Lilly. I wonder what the rest of the Ukraine.com people would chose as their fave, huh?
