"The Silence of Trees" A New Book!
My daughter Valya wrote a book and submitted her manuscript to the Amazon.com "Breakthrough Novel Award" contest. Yesterday she was notified that she has been selected as a semifinalist in this contest, and the next step is public review. I am asking you to please visit the Amazon site, if you are an Amazon customer (click on the below address), and give her excerpt a review. This phase of the contest depends on the amount and quality of reviewers (by February 28, 2008) that each semifinalist receives. The excerpt from the novel is only 13-14 pages long. I hope that you find it interesting and give it a positive review. Thank you for helping out and please forward this message to everyone you know so that Valya can get the maximum amount of exposure. This is a story of a Ukrainian woman who lived through much of the historic times of the 20th century.
