As per Ellis Island, there is a Michael DECZUK, 30 yrs old, married to a Ahaphia in Fraw/Traw > Wohl.> Russia. He is listed as arriving in NY May 16, 1911 and was heading to Wilkesbarre PA., to Jakiv/Jacob Zych's place. Michael was appx 5-7 w/brown hair & brown eyes.

The variant surname is Ukrainian, based on suffix. His place of origin is in what is Ukraine today, although the region, Vohlynskaya Gubernia, has been divided into Vohlynska & Rivnenska Oblasts today. Before I waste time looking for exact village, tell me that my guess is off or on track. As easy as this surname may be, it was even easier to mess up the transliteration/sounds like.
