I know thjat this is gonna sound really stupid, but try buying some of the childrens video from http://www.ukrainianpower.com . They are meant to teach the language to children but I find them quite helpful, since it was the same way that I learned to speak English.

Actually, that site is not that stupid :P I posted that link in another site just a little while ago.
Anyways, here is a link to a website with a few Ukrainian language lessons. It is pretty good, and I've been studying it myself. http://www.ukma.kiev.ua/pub/courses/UFL/ |

How to Learn Ukrainian in NJ
Hi, Katharine! There's a large Russian-Carpathian community near Linden NJ. Do you know Rev. Father John (George) Birch from Rahway? They all speak Ruthenian (Rusyn) language which is the closest to Ukrainian as it can be.
I hope this will help you. Respectfully, Salofan |
