SmartLink has a good dictionary for english / russian -- but I'm looking for a vocabulary-trainer blank to issue all tranlations by myself. The Bolshoi Russkii Slovar as printed matter is more than complete (more than 220 000 translations) but -- maybe one of the Russians or Ukrainians has a frame for an empty-computer-dictionary -- or will I be obliged to write myself a program ?
My needs are: the frame-work for a dictionary, to be filled out by the user, for having control over all words already learned -- and not something "overcharged" with lots of icons for special vocabulary and or expressions "poshol ..." (3rd person, past tense of exat). Someone has the address of freeware for a vocabulry trainer, so that I can make out my INDIVIDUAL dictionary German-Russian / Russian-German and also Ukrainian - German, etc. |

I wrote a small program in 1990 for the Amiga and then translated it using Visual Basic after Microslouch realized multimedia wasn't "just a passing fad" (Quote from Bill Gates). The artwork is old and pixelated, but the voice is good and I will sell it for $10 (plus shipping). It has about 700 basic vocabulary words.
