have alphabet, need help understanding it

When I met my new friends from Khmelnytsky, I bought a book that teaches the language. The first few pages deal with the Ukainian alphabet, I am in way over my head and can only figure out a few words.
What I am really needing is the english translation to their addresses, is there any one that can help me??????
