A word like this surely has a Ukranian equevalent of 'zatknis`'. A lot of times, different Slavic languages use the same words to describe different things. Like in Slovak I think morning is 'rano' while in Russian that means 'early'. So Im sure 'zatknis' would be like 'negovori' or some shi't, not sure, wait for a Ukie to answer.

Right, but shut-up is not quite the equivalent of "please be quiet" I'd say "zakryj svoju pel'ku"

Harsh ? Cmon, essentially when you want people to be quet, you want them to shut the fuc'k up before you knock their teeth out ;)

Truth is harsh.

Some things never change, it depends who you ask... Forgive my bold expressions, but a delicate aproach adds to the confusion
