How would I say 'so'?

How would I say the word 'so' in Ukrainian? I mean it in the context of, "He is so smart," or "This tastes so bad," not "He was tired, so he went to sleep." I can't figure out how.

I'm going to be going to Russia in a few weeks... I wonder if I'll be able to speak English myself for a while.

I'll be going to Moscow and St. Petersburg, for a week, in the beginning of August.
Yes, I doubt I'll forget English, but what if I come back with a Russian accent?
