How do you say these 2 things in Ukrainian?

I'm learning Ukrainian, and want to know how to say these 2 phrases (in Cyrillic too). "I don't know what that was", and "Me too."

I am an American studying Ukrainian in DC. I think I have translated both of these properly.
I don't know what that was = Ъ МЕ ГМЮЧ ЫН РНЦН ЭСБ. The "that" might be wrong, I put it in genitive case because it is pass tense. Me too = ъ РЕФ.

Not sure what the genetive case has to do with the 'pass tense'... Might want to translate it as мЕ ГМЮЧ, ЫН РН АСКН. The 'me too' will really require a wider context to translate it 'properly'.

I don't know how it was: Ya neznayu yak tse bulo.
Me too: Ya tezh.

actually "Me too" would be "ya takozh"
