Translation help - letter to child

Please could someone be so kind to translate a postcard for me? It was sent to my father as a baby from his sister in Ukraine. My father does not know any Ukrainian.

I have tried to translate this myself before putting this on the forum. I believe it is either a congratulations for a birthday or on his birth (not sure which) and i think it says she wishes him happiness. It would mean a lot for my dad to know what this says if any one could help.

p.s I have had to attach the screen shot as I could not upload the scan.

That one is unreadable..

Try getting a Ukrainian -English dictionary! It's kind of fun finding out all by yourself.. Especially since it seems that it's your family history.

As of 24/12/1967
To Kobevko Dyivit Vasylyovych
From Kobevko Vira Vasylivna

Dear brother Dyivit,
I congratulate you with your Birthday! I wish you, brother, happiness, health and all the best in your little life, and to prosper for our gladness like poppies flourish in summer, and I wish that the merry infantile smile stays on your infant face during the whole year. Happy new Year! 1968!

P.S. The further is not from the letter, it is just my comment. Even through almost 50 years and digit format I felt the warm of this letter. Thank you for a bit of positive emotions for the day. And good luck to you and your dad!

This would have been my father's first birthday, he is now 44 and gets to read this now and understand for the first time.
Thank you very much.
Dyakuyu!
