Lemko/Boyko

Hello,

Both my grandfathers were Boyko, and both my grandmothers Lemko. I know lemko, and how it sounds like. But im interested in learning the difference between the two since i know they are relatively similar.

the only boyko-specific word/expression i know is "Batayo!" (expression one would use for instance 'oh my goodness'

Hi Markolyszyk,

You can find resources in the Internet:
YouTube - Yako tako -- Etno hory 183 -- ( lemko music ethno )

It would also be good to get some basic knowledge on Lemko and Boyko ethnic groups.
