I am from the U.S. and my wife is from Ukraine. We named our daughter Allison Ruslana Barner. Her family back home is working hard to say the name Allison and my wife said they'll probably just stick to calling her by her middle name.

I'm so sorry for a late late late reply, thank you everyone for telling me I'm also wondering is Kalina pronounced differently in Ukraine? What is the popular spelling? I have seen it spelled Kalyna & Kalina
