Smile English to Ukrainian transliterisation

I have been a member of MuZon .com and their chat has a tick box for allowing members to type in Ukrainian "translit". Why is this not possible to have on these pages. Not everyone has the availability of a translation program. Just an Idea??

I never used that site, but that is a cool idea. Something that i would rather have though is Ukrainian Keyboard (win-1251)
This is a popup (so the window is smaller) when you click Ukrainian virtual keyboard on On-line Dictionary Request Rezult which is like "the" site for free Ukrainian translation

I had a look at both sites and they are good. However it may be better if they were combined so you can type in either language(by mouse or your own keyboard) and have it show up directly on your reply preview page ,and be either sent as is or translated first. One could type a reply on the translator but the time taken to cut and paste onto a 'Chat' page would be prohibitive. Also ,you could have it in split window but not all have wide screen computors.
I'd be happy with direct selectable translit and use phonetic spelling as others do and use the translator for more formal/thought out replies on pages such as this.

I have been working on a program that is a Ukrainian keyboard
I just keep putting it off.

I doubt what you want will ever happen because Ukraine.com is owned by some big site which also controls a bunch of others. I which Ukraine.com was community owned. Like an open source site with one person who oversees stuff.
That would be nice

To Stepanstas,
I understand your pessimism but even big site owners come to terms with undeniable common sense. In that any improvement can only benefit them in the long term as more users means more exposure to advertising etc.Should they decide to restrict or severely limit free speech then we would no option than to go elsewhere or "heaven forbid" open our own site with all those extras they can't provide.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this should happen as I feel this site is reasonably OK.(can't wait for chat to open).
It has some shortcomings and some missing bits but with more members and usage it can only improve.Phew!! take a breath old man!@#!
Finally, any tool we can use to improve our ability to communicate in our native tongue(Ha! here we are in English!) has got to be good.
