Need Confirmation of Translation
HI and thank you for looking.
Both of my grandparents are Ukrainian. I am getting a memorial tattoo for my grandfather. It is going to say "Give me a kiss" in Ukrainian (something he taught me to say when I was little). I have it written in Ukrainian but I need someone to please confirm that i have the correct spelling....could someone please response with that phrase in Ukrainian. Give - me - мені Kiss - Thank you for your time. Alyson in Hawaii

I like your idea very much. So , it can be Give - Дай me - мені kiss - поцілунок The phrase 'Give me a kiss' and other similar ones are common in English , but look strange in Ukrainian. We use 'give' only for things - Give me a book , etc. It's just impossible to say ' Give a wink ' literally in Ukrainian. We use a verb in an Imperative mood for such situations. Поцілуй мене - would be much better in correct Ukrainian. Hello from Ukraine .
