The Disabled & Vulnerable Orphans of Ukraine (DVOU) is a brand new humanitarian relief organization, searching for volunteers. We aim at identifying and resolving critical issues that special needs orphans face in Ukraine, with illnesses such as Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and other diseases. Through humanitarian relief, medical aid & health care development, advocacy, childcare education & various staff training programs, we hope to make a change and impact in these children's lives who currently have absolutely no prospects in life whatsoever.

We desperately need your help in various ways:

∙ Organizer ~ become a DVOU advocate and mobilize others in your area to become involved in fundraising at your local school, workplace or club!
∙ Promoter ~ give your time and talents for just a few hours per week to promote the DVOU and raise funds for our programs. Also, work with local companies to encourage local fundraising support!
∙ Traveling volunteer ~ travel to Ukraine to either work in short term administration work in our (future) office in Kyiv or visit orphanages with whom the DVOU is involved and play with kids!
∙ Professional volunteer ~ consult or provide your professional services for short and long term projects in any of these areas: website management, medicine, nursing, physical and occupational therapy, dentistry, optometry, education, grant writing, marketing, fundraising, event planning, construction/renovation, project management or public relations
∙ Volunteer coordinator ~ recruit and coordinate other volunteers and help fill all of the above roles!

Volunteers can work from home and remote places to help the DVOU.
