ROLE OF MAPHIA IN UKRAINE

i am not an unkrainian, but living in japan, and met alot of ukrainian people, especially girls, they always sayed proudly that they know many maphia (mafiya) people in ukraine to help them either in good and bad.
i am wondering, Are maphias in ukraine good people or bad and are they under the protection of the government or it is the opposit (viceversa).are they an orgenization or only group of people working seperately. i would like to know more about them.

mafians are just people like you and me. and manyb of them do understand what they are doing, and that they should not do any harm(ince they are doing so)
mafia means organisation.once people use their brains properly, nobody would be doing harm in process of life

All mafiya is bad. In fact, even in the states, in California, there is mafiya here. I do not want them in this country, or even in Ukraine.

. What are you talking about?!? Mafia members are scum who make their money through extortion and through drug/people trafficking. They are glorified by scum-loving people who share their reckless lifestyles and disregard for human life.
