I am interested in historical information for my research - Are Ukrainians the only people in Europe that eat salo. Let's say, what is known about preferences of Slovaks, Rusyns, Poles, and other peoples from Central and Eastern Europe. When did this tradition start? Since when is it known that salo became a favorite of Ukrainian cuisine art?
