Oh, yes: about children - I haven't heard about murders of children by Cossacks.
I was writing here not of Ukrainian uprising there but of Polish peasants. In whole Poland.

According to Chmielnicki - whole families were slaughtered. In Asian style..

Same as Poles did.

Yarema Vyshnevetskyi, yes. I know. He was Ukrainian but actually he was completely polonized like many others (look "History lesson for more detailed information"). He thought only of his wealth so he supported Poles during our National-liberating war. But you cannot blame Ukrainians for Vyshnevetskyi because all of us hate him - he is a traitor. Yes, a real beast. The most disgusting person in all the war. So if you mentioned it to tell me Ukrainians very cruel - forget about it, he killed UKRAINIANS.
No, I do not think Ukraine is saint.

But remember what Khmelnytskyi said: "I won't have a war with Turks and Crimeans - it is sufficient to have Ukraine". This expresses a principle we are proud of - Ukraine never wanted to conquer and oppress any country, unlike Poland, Russia, Lithuania.
