Hi

My great grandmother and her husband owned a farm in approx 1935 till they were taken to a labour camp during the war. They have never returned there. The area names that I have are Ihrowice or Kalinka. My great grandmother (104 years old)and her daughter, my nan (who is 73) now live in Wales. My nan is planning a trip to the area this year and is hoping to go back to the exact area that their farm belonged - only to see what it is like now - nothing else!!!

I could not locate this area on the maps on the Ukraine site. Can anyone point this out to me? And tell me any more info???

Incase anyone has lived in the area and knows or remembers local names, the family name was Lozin and my great grandmothers first name is Yozefa. She lost her husband and other two children from typhoid, I think at a red cross site in Ukbekstan when they were being moved around during the war.

I would be very grateful and I am really interested if anyone can send me any info.

Many thanks.
