Stas, honey,
Off the topic: how long have you been staying in US? To the topic: how much do you know about history in general? how much can you analyze in general? I do believe that the knowledge and the power to analyze you have in your age would not compete with some other people's life experience. And in general, I think that you spend too much of time in front of your PC and on Internet all together...Go out to the street, have some fresh air, you should have more real (alive) friends to talk to rather than virtual... Grandma: as you wrote: " I am not happy that there arent Russians schools in the places with Russians people, I mean Donetsk, for example, but I want to speak Ukrain....." Sorry, if I understood it in a wrong way, but then maybe you could really explain what you were trying hard to say...I read it again and again and keep on wondering about the meaning... Off the topic: how old are you? I am sure, not the age of a granny. and what do you do in life? |

Grandma: it is definitely all right with ukrainian language in Ukraine.
It is our official language and children do study it in school and then college and some in universities/institutes... But the language that you speak is the matter of choice. You should speak the language that is common for the area you are staying at that particular time, so that people around you understand you and communicate with you. And yes, there was a time ukrainian language was not allowed to be spoken and taught. Then later it was a choice: you could learn it at school or you could refuse to study the course. But this time is over now... |

I guess you were trying to tell me that your level in history knowledge is a lot higher then mine, ok, I never said I know a lot about it, but I am sure I know more then some. And if you know more then anybody then, please share it with us
I do not see your point. And about spending time in internet, I am located in U.S. which is a place where I do not want to be, the only way to avoid being here while you're here is being in internet. And I do not just sit here I trade stocks on NASDAQ.[This message has been edited by StasUA (edited 16 January 2000).] |
