Hi! This is Amanda Bocian. I am looking for any information on how to find more military records. I have my great grandfather's military book from when he was listed in either the Austro-Hungarian army or the Russian army. His book states that it is from circa 1907. Most of the towns that my grandfather could translate were of a town named Sidoriv / Sidorow. This is also the town where he was born. His military book showed that he was in regiment #9 and traveled a lot. It does not say when he quit the army, but he came to canada in 1911. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
