[Mazepink]

I want to try and search the history of my family name: Mazepink. My grangmother says it came from Ukraine. My greatgrandfather and his brother escaped the Ukraine when the Russians were taking over in communism. One possible name it could have been: Mazepuik. It might have been longer er something. Can anyone help with family name research?
