As Misha stated the History Channel is showing a documentary on Russia named "Russia: Land of Tsars"

The Historians referenced on the show came from CUNY (New York), Cambridge (UK) and St. Petersburg. The Documentary begins with Vladimir, Grand Prince of Kiev. What I found surprising was throughout the documentary there was no mention of "Kiev Rus", only "Rus".
