PLEASE HELP

I have just created a personal website and I really want to have something on the history of Ukraine (as much as its only possible). Now, most of the sources I found on the internet are either not so good, or there is no way of contacting the author and asking for permission to post the content.

Please help me get some information of this sort in English, I would greatly appreciate it and would site you as an author on my site

This is the Ukrainian Embassy in Ottawa site they have sort of like a timeline of the main important events... maybe this might help?
