Howdy to all, Adolf Hitler was one of the most evil men that has ever walked the face of this earh. Stalin was also one of the most cruel men to ever place his feet in Russia, or anywhere. Both monsters were responsible for the deaths of many millions of innocent people. I wonder which was the worser of the two? Which one the most evil? Hitler killed around 10 million in concentration camps, and caused WWII, in which 70 million died altogether. On the other hand, Stalin starved to death 20 million Ukrainian farmers. Both were wicked, but I wonder, which one the most evil? What do you think? Swede, |

NZman, I'm here in Ukraine, and I can't access the books you suggest, but I'll keep looking. Meantime, Ive got to throw in with you, Forest, as Stalin was uniquely evil: He slaughtered lots of people who were loyal to him, including a bunch of doctors in 1953 just before his death. He just about wiped out the professional officer corps at the flag rank level. It's redundant to talk about the manufactured famine of '32-'33, but keeping in mind that Hitler hadn't even gotten his first wind by that time, Stalin was way ahead of his time in creating atrocities that had no precedent.

Close one isn't it. I'll vote for Hitler as he had plans for several million more.
I believe that they're both edged out by Hirohito's boys, who had the unique distinction of being told by the Nazis to go easy on the mass-murder, as it was giving the Axis a bad name. Forest I shuddered reading that story about your cousin's parents-in-law. |
