I am sure that only Mongols really benefitted from their invasion. Ruthenia/Ukraine suffered the most. It had been a prosperous country before the great unhappiness of the hostile and extremely brutal Mongolian action. Even for the medieval standards, the atrocities committed by the Jingiz Khan army were regarded as something unspeakable.
Ruthenia, a predecessor of Ukraine, suffered terribly, the country was disintegrated and extremely weakened. Poland and Hungary suffered less, but Lithuania partly benefitted, because it conquered Ruthenia in the wake of Mongolian deluge, without much fight.
Post Script Foreigner, have you been educated in the United States? You mentioned Teddy Kosciuszko, he is appreciated in the United States, together with Casimir Pulaski.

No.My education is purely Japanese
Well,in Japan all courageous warriors are respected regardless of religion, nationality, race, etc.,and Kosciuszko was respected here around the end of 19th century and even a song based on his activity was made....
