At least the last link works.

I was expecting pictures of tanks and calls of insurrection to fight Poland. Otherwise it's a low-key heritage Lemko site (Miguel, you are easily irritated.)

Yeah, what are they saying? I'd like to know as well!
Migueel is right.
That is clear, impartial, official situation in Poland.
1. Germans were killing Poles.
2. Russians were killing Poles.
3. and very , very, very little information of UPA or Nationalists crimes.
Everywhere officials say: they are our brothers now. We shouldn't irritate them.
New historical books - no even mentioned crimes commited by Nationalits, but always condemnation of Wisla Action.
Official Polish attitude: Wis³a Action - very bad, unfair solution.

So still living victims find that a little bit unfair.

And other interesting info.

I don't know how are things in Poland, but if a couple of loud Lemkos are giving you a headache, then I wish you had our problems (just kidding, noone deserves that )

Ukraine has already apologized for Volyn'.

You should also have some sense of perspective- if you look who is more indebted to whom, then, man, you had been screwing us for centuries. Poland comes in a solid second right after Russia. Yet we already forgave your occupation.

If Ukraine ever becomes our enemy Poland becomes its pain in the ass.If there's a row in Poland about Katyn every 2 days against powerful Russia what would Volhynia debate look like?

I think we're learning from Jews the utilitary use of history.they started shoah business.we use Katyn topic in politics.
4 years ago Kwasniewski apologized Jews for one pogrom in 1941.it seemed to be shameful mistake to apologize when nobody around apologizes us but at least powerful Jewish lobbies reduced traditional antipolish propaganda since then.

-I'm serious - every official history book for schoolchildren in Poland tells of Akcja Wis³a. Books tell that it was very bad action and that we should be ashamed.
So Lemkos voices are not essencial here.

Ukraine has already apologized for Volyn'.

1.The point is that Your Government apologized for Vlohynia - but for us the words were rather debatable.
2.And you can find any millitary forum - Ukrainian attendants deny that there were Volyn' masacres at all. I can send You links.
3. Masacres took place on whole Galicia. My granny lived in west Galicia. And her horrible memories were from Lviv and surroundings.

You should also have some sense of perspective- if you look who is more indebted to whom, then, man, you had been screwing us for centuries. Poland comes in a solid second right after Russia. Yet we already forgave your occupation.

The same. You forgot because you are openminded. But search other forums. We still stay as bloody ocupants. For me point is that I didn't hear of such Polish masacres like UPA did. And why children from that time were responsible for events which took place 200 years before? Collective responsibillity? Freedom fighters could just throw "Lachiv" away - and they could establish Independent Ukraine. Was the quick, horrible revenge necessary to receive freedom?
