Thanks zhuk!
According to one British documentary that I saw the Avarys had a frim siege on the Roman empire and they were known as the horse civilization, however something terrible had ocurred during this period where there was a descent to the dark ages as testified by the legend of King Arthur in England and the lost Mayan civilization in Southern Mexico/Guatemala something of Cataclismic proportions and I wonder what was going on in Ukraine around this time which concids with the Turkic people invasion of Europe around this time also and they were known as a peasant civilization
According to this documentary film it theorizes that the world suffered a great climatic change during this time that went on for decades due to the unexpected eruption of Krakatau island(nestled between the islands of Sumatra and java in Indonesia) this could easily be dismissed if it wasn't for the evidence collected from the permafrost in the Artctic and Antarctic ice and this was carbon tested.
Interesting isn't it?

Thak you, it was really interesting

Yes, unfortunately most people studies one or another civilization developement without analizing world-wide situation in those times.
I would appreciate if you state the book or film on this topic.
it is a pity that slavic peoples had no writings or alphabet in that period. Otherwise it would be a very good reading if any chronicles happenned to survive.
i think most of information on this topic should be found in Bizantium chronicles.
I have some books on history of east roman Empire and try to investigate this.
Best wishes.

Thanks for your input zhuk.
It was a British documentary and in fact a series of interesting documentaries made by Channel 4 I don't know where you probably can get some info here http://www.channel4.com/
There is more than a curious and almost inexplicable and very important relationship of events historically and geophisically a great accumulation of volcanic ash occured in both poles during this period
