now, according to my statistics, out of those 55-65% poles living in lviv before wwii, almost 95% were electricians. now do you know why this is? because it takes 4 polish electricians to change a lightbulb. how so? well, one stands on the stool holding a lightbulb up to the socket while the other 3 turn the stool.

Halickii Knyaz Danylo

To Iridium.
Do you really beleve that Knyaz Danilo ever identified himself as Ukrainian?
This word itself appeared just in 16th century.
So neither of the Halicki or Kievan or Chernigiv or Pereyaslv kniazy know of their being Ukrainian origin.
They mostly considered themselves as Rusinian or Ruthinian Counts.
Probably you father should tell you more on the history of Ukraine.

they were not russian. russia was originated around moskov, no ukranian ever went there. lviv is pretty far from russia, walking distance in those days. they were pagans living there in the woods and discovered vodka and decided to form their own country and played their balalaikas.

Ýõ, äóðàê!! The man said "Ruthenia", not Russia. Don't you know the difference between "ruskiy" and "rosiiskiy" in Ukrainian? To say nothing about the Kievan origins of Russia.

Country Cork doesn’t belong to the most densely inhabited in Ireland. One doesn’t meet its inhabitants very often. That was this strange coincidence.

Zhuk and others,

Whos was Lviv before Polish invasion?
Lets assume that tomorrow Ukkraine will be invaded by US, I am sure that after 50 years they would say that Lviv is US property.

Take the following in cinsidaration:

Lviv has diameter of about 10 km. Take the bus and move 15 km avay from the city center. What language skeak surrounding willages and townt ? If you do not know I will tell you: Thay speak Ukrainian

Do the same In Kyiv. Since covarage area of Kyiv I bigger you will probably have to move 25 km avay from city center.
And then, realise what language speak those people residing in surrounding willages and towns? - Ukrainian.

Invaidors did not go to rural areas where life is hard, where one has to work hard. They reside in Cities, and less in smal towns and finally no one in willages.

If you want to know truth. you have to think logically.

regards,
Yura
