You may have heard about a recently murdered journalist in Ukraine. His name was Gongadze, and he wasn't the only journalist to be killed there. This journalist and others criticized the government and corrupt officials too much, and this is why they died.

If you indentify yourself and say something that a foreign government doesn't like, then you may get into trouble when you travel to that country.

If you intend to spend the rest of your life in a western country where your rights are guaranteed, then by all means identify yourself. But if you travel around the world, then try to remember that your rights don't always travel with you.

I will not identify myself because I want to speak freely without any fear that I may get into trouble when I travel to another country.
