where millions were forcibly transfered for one reason or no reason right across the ussr. solzinitzyn in his book the gulag relates of these hardships during stalinst times when this despot ruled with the help of the nkvd some ukranians who emigranted to britain after the war were forcefully sent back to the ukraine in the full knowledge of the british government that they were being sent to their deaths...johncullen |
