Do not worry, I won't be editting them for no reason, as I have never done it before.

You're renaming Ukrainian history as Russian, though somehow - people tend to believe historians instead of you? lol

To: Bartosz,

I know that I'm not a good moderator, because I don't check most of the topics. I have less and less time everyday now for this issue ...

However, you've accused me of being "incomfortable for some because of their nationality members of this forum" I hope you'll change your view about me on this, as it is a pure deception. I judge a person by his/her mind.

Good luck,
Stas

Stas,

The Pol Nationalist has no intentions on judging on anything other than the fact you are Ukrainian. His lament for the loss of the Polish empire entails the getting in to bed with whom ever hates Ukrainians.

Watch for the absurdity of the retort.

Take care,

Vlas.

to those who have hope

The people of Carpathian Rus became known as Ukrainians after 1945, when Stalin forced everyone to have "Ukrainian" written in the nationalities line of their newly issued Soviet passports. Before that they called themselves Rusyni, and Rusnak's dido and baba are a proof of that.

You'll just delete them, like you already did, because they contradicted your Gestapo policies.

"Right." And Ukrainian "historians" tend NOT to believe any historians, branding them as followers of Russian "propaganda".
There was no Ukraine and no Ukrainians in Kievan Rus. Its people were Russians as is evident from all Russian Chronicles and other documents, which have no mention of "Ukraine" or "Ukrainians." It is also evident in the Russian culture, literature, arts, language, church, etc.

I don't know what you're talking about. The Ukrainian dialect was granted status of a language approximately in 1914 by the Imperial Russian Academy in St. Petersburg. But personally, I don't have a problem with it.

Talking To the world greatest historian

Are you referring to Ukrainians who are historians or historians of Ukraine in general?
If the latter then you are either very naïve or very stupid. Even the Ukraine hating Pol nationalist's favourite Norman Davies acknowledges the existence of Ukraine.

Are you really asserting that you know more than Andrew Wilson and Robert Conquest?

Your empire is gone live with it.

Vlas.

Gistapo? lol! Ukrainian dialect? So now it's not a language? Finally you revealed yourself as a nationalist. Don't worry, people like you won't live long!

After reading those two postings, I've had a good laugh and now I came to final conclusion that it's a complete waste of time, talking to people that know absolutely nothing about the subject and accuse people of falsified statements...

Àðêàä³é,

Ö³êàâî øóòêóºø 8-) ëîë... "truly educated" õºõº

Good luck! "Trulu educated" and others hehe

Thumbs up divergence invites Russian intrusion

It is uncanny, how alert is the Russian side to step in and meddle wherever there is the slightest sign of divergence of opinion or misconception. On the big scale, of course, there is the Kievan Rus' situation. Since there is no stamped document, from the Kievan Rus' times, attesting that it {Kievan Rus'} is equivalent to present Ukraine, the Russian side persists that it is equivalent to Russia. There is no such document on either side. What exists, however is the recorded history. And that is where the Russian side became expert in sowing confusion and spreading disinformation. It is quite simple to lay the facts straight, and to put this ever resurfacing conundrum to bed.

Citing from history {reference book, EUROPE, by Norman Davies, pg. 392} - an excerpt:

"It was in this period {circa 1380/emkay} that the Muscovites began to call their state by the Greek name for Rus', ROSSIYA {Russia}, and to call themselves Russians. These Muscovite-Russians had never ruled over Kiev; but the disability did not prevent them from regarding Moscow as the sole legitimate heir of the Kievan succession."

In my following posts, I will return to the situations, of a smaller scale, where the Russian side is stirring the pot.
