I have been watching a documentary of the holodomor that cost so many ukrainian's lives.
Was the whole of Ukraine affected including the west (L'viv, Frankivsk) etc or was it only certain areas?

I have tried to look online but couldn't find an answer. Such a dreadful thing to happen.

No, it was only Central/Eastern Ukraine, which was under Stalinist rule.
