Hi...I am searching for a CITY, a REGION or a TOWN or a VILLAGE that would be located in Austria-Galacia-Ruthenian area with the timeline period around 1912-1915 era. The Americanized version of the name or the pronounciated SOUND of the name would be "Przenic" ---can anyone help me as to where this place would be? Thank you or anyone for this help.

I can think only of Przemyśl - Do not know any other short names in this area starting with Prze

As per Lenius' Gazetteer, there are at least 55+ possibilities for place name PRZ???? > in what was Galicia/Halyczyna Province > Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Where did you locate immigration records? Have you researched for naturalization records? Where did your immigrant ancestor settle upon immigration? What religion did he/she practice? Does Hutsul or Lemko (micro-ethnic Ruthenian groups) ring any bells?

Out of content, you are just hitting a harder wall. For an accurate call, we need more information.
