Question

Hello, I'm back (former Alkas)

it would be very interesting for me to know, what do you think about the Jews in the Ukrainian history.

Thinking of the events in the last century, one could make
a conclusion that the Jewish history in Eastern Europe (and particulary in Ukraine)defenitively came to an end.

Post Better Times... Maybe

Hi AleXg

Jewish history certainly hasn’t ended in Ukraine, they have just redeveloped the synagogue in Kyiv. It was formally housing a puppet theatre. There is a steady but strong Jewish resurgence all over Eastern Europe and Ukraine like all other countries is experiencing this. Judging by the amount of anti-Semitic graffiti in Cracow (Poland), it can be taken that Jewish people despite all the hurdles are beginning to make some level of success in business

However, there has been an exodus of Ukrainian and other East European Jews to Israel since the collapse of communism.

An interesting debate to ensue, I hope.

It was a true sociological and statistical jewell; the quantity of anti semitic graffitis on the walls in Kracaw determining the prosperity of Jews on Ukraine. Another Makarenko?

Ukraine Hating Pol

Bartosz,

Thank god you're back, this site has really missed your misanthropic tones. How's the Ukraine hating going?

The question actually stated in 'Eastern Europe' and Poland is in my experience Central/East Europe's most anti-Semitic place. I guess that's the fault of the ethnic minority of Ukrainians living there, as they're obviously to blame for all the ills of the world.

I trust you've had time to read up, thereby enabling you to print more of your hate. Welcome back. Did you get a new thesaurus for Christmas?

LippyChick

Hi AleXG,

Andrew Gregorovich has just published a book on Jewish history in Ukraine. I may be worth checking out.

Hating? What does it mean? After carefull looking up in my dictionary I didn't find any similar notion. Could you present me yours, from your queens one?

You have always been famous for controversial opinions. I'm impatient for becoming familiar with treaties concerning this subject[ Poland as the most etc., etc.]. You know, we narrow minded fellows like touch before beliving.

As for advertised literature, handle our friend something about discrediting German Concentration Camps, it wouldn't astonish me if your author had contributed similar theories.

Keep smiling

Jews in Ukraine?

Rabinovich - media magnate, Pinchuk - pipe king. Not enough?
But Pinchuk's a civile son-in-low of Kuchma...
