former communist party headquarters

It is 16 years since I visited the beautiful city of Lviv I am just writing two stories set in the city.


I would like to know when the building I was told was the communist party headquartersQ in 1994 was built. I remember seeing it clearly from Castle Hill as it stood out on the opposite ridge. But I don't know how many stories high it was.

If it wasn't built in 1971 where in 1971 in the city were the communist party headquarters? and what sort of a building?
