Please help find a book

I am interested in finding a good book on history of Ukraine that is in English (I read in English faster) and no longer than 300 pages. Something that encompasses the entire history of the country in a nutshell.

It would be best if it was something that I could find in the public library...

Thanks.

Vasyl' thanks, I can check the library of course (will do in a minute), I wanted someone to suggest a book they read, thus knowing that I won't be reading something poorly written or exceptionally boring, thats all.

Thanks for the suggestion, when did you read it?

I came across it in the library but i didn't read it yet, but it was published by Yale University Press. So, it is probably good.

If you take a chance and read it please post back on how good the book was.

On Ukrainians

Vasyl, my son has got this book of Andrew Wilson at home, as a Polish translation. It is worth reading. I only read some chapters.
