I just found this sight last evening. I am married to a full Ukranian, John, (3 generations removed from your country). His sister does the most beautiful pysanky and they make a few of the traditional foods, but that is about their total knowledge of your country and people. My son, John, a sixth grader, has chosen Ukraine for his cultural report for school.

If anyone would please look under the "School Project" thread and maybe answer a few questions for us. Thank you.

About us, We are originally from Ohio U.S., and have moved to Texas six months ago. My husband's family origin is Ukraine. My family background is Slovenian and German.
