Happy New Year 2003 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you all for your good wishes, I think the end of the old year was really very good for this forum (particularly when compared with all the bile being spilled at Russia.com).
May the New Year 2003 be even more interesting, hopeful and successful for our little community. Let me quote the famous words which are so universal everywhere and whenever. I have already used them once in this forum but their magic can be recalled hundred times. Forget for the moment about religion and listen to them in a purely human way. ...I may speak in tongues of men and angels, but if I am without love, I am a sounding gong or a clanging cymbal. I may have the gift of prophecy, and know every hidden truth; I may have faith strong enough to move mountains; but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may dole out all I possess, or even give my body to be burned, but if I have no love, I am none the better. Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offence. Love keeps no score of wrongs; nor does gloat over other men's sins, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and its endurance. Love will never come to an end... [the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians] Please, tell it in other languages, including Ukrainian in the first place. [Edited by Zbyszek on 31st December 2002 at 02:22] |

Just before Christmas
Hannia, NZman thank you for your words. I see ukraine.com has a bad luck just before Christmas because there was a broken connection for a few days. Probably because of this break and even a longer break in September this forum is so silent when compared with say russia.com.
I would like to extend good wishes to Rusdrm also and thank him for his interesting data on Cossack rebellions in the XVIIth century. |
