Hi Everyone. I am tryiny to find information on my grandparents. My grandfather was Wasyl Pankiw.born in Galicia around 1885. My grandmother was Maria Pankiw born in the Horodenka area in 1888. They were married in 1909. They had one son born in Galicia - Nicholas in 1911. Wasyl came to Canada Via NewYouk in 1912. Maria and Nick came in 1914. Information from their deceased sons indicates her maiden name was Mokrycky from the village of Daleshiv,Horodenka county. I get no results searching for this maiden name or village. How do I find information on my grandparents? HELP.

Village Daleshove in the Horodenka district. There must be still Panlkiv and Mokrytsky people there, although the latest database shows no Morkytsky famiilies there.

Louise, I did a google search on the name Wasyl Pankiw and there were hits showing for him with Morkytsky spouse......I too am searching for info on a Wasyl Pankiw..but not the one you are seeking info, good luck
