Saludos from sunny California

My name is David from California. My Father is Portuguese and my Mother Mexican. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and some Italian. I am currently in the process of learning Russian. I can understand it I just can't read or write it just yet. I worked for a big bank that has gone bankrupt, however prior to doing so we had some Ukrainian,Russian and Polish costumer's. So the bank put me on there special Eastern Europe section. I am very impulsive and would like to travel and even live in Eastern Europe with the purpose of attending medical school. School's in the U.S.A are to expensive and will never have the "foreign" experience. I am planning my first trip to Moscow, (my visa was denied a few year's ago, I suspect it being that I worked for Homeland) I have been to the Ukraine and I loved it and the people also. Trying to add another chapter in my life.

Dave,

I admire your impulsiveness, and desire to live and learn abroad! I have a small family, so I'm unable to jump on such an adventure quite as easily, though we've talked quite a bit about moving to somewhere in Europe. The problem is the logistics are too complicated, as it is really difficult to sort the employment thing out (unless you're super indepedently wealthy) because of work visas, and available work. It's still a dream of ours in any case!

I hope you find some Ukrainian connections to make your leap a successful one.

Hope to hear more about your background and story moving forward.

-Kevin
