Hello from Alaska!

Hello One and All!

I;ve been to Ukraine about 9 times already after meeting my bride in Cherkassy. We were married there in Jan 05 and she came to Alaska the following June on a CR-1 visa. Life has been great for us since then.
We have many great friends scattered around Ukraine too, Most are in the Cherkassy Oblast and some in Kiev.
I enjoy the time we mangae to spend in Ukraine. Usually out vacation in in the winter and we get to spend a month at a time there. If and when the time comes for me to retire Ukraine will be our home for the summer months and the winters will belong to Alaska! We love snowmobileing down at the "Dacha".

I have to work my butt off to keep this "life style" on track. Luckily the airfares really haven't gone up that much over the years. I expect them top double everytime I look online. Fuel has gone up alot more than the % of rise for the tickets.
My step son and his family live in Kiev. The granson is 5 already! He's much more computer literate than I am, even at 5. I'm amazed what he can do with it. He even speaks some english thanks to his parents. Luckily I am fluent in "kid speak".
