Hello from Chicago~

Hi Everybody,
I'm new here. I just wanted to say hi to everybody.
I have been trying to research my family from Ukraine for a while now.

In June of 2004 I posted on rootsweb,
asking for help in my search.
. . .it took 39 months for somebody to post back!!
(yes, over 3 years)
(my other post somebody tried to help- but it didn't lead anywhere-
that may have been Hannia as well???)

Within days of posting on THIS forum,
Some GREAT people helped me out-
and I am making HUGE progress!!!

So if anybody needs help on the Chicago end (northwest suburbs of)
give me a shout!

lisaparx, Thats my favorite link as you might tell and I personally asked the author to never remove it. I used to have it in my signature, but when i upgraded to a user bar, it only displays for a second. I think ill add it again.

If I may note, stepan will make a thousand mistakes (grammar, spelling) in his posts but he will crucify you if you say "the Ukraine".

The article isn't bad, but isn't it a bit hypocritical of you Stepan to be so "in the face" with the whole "the Ukraine" issue?
