Thank you very much guys.

Only a few days have passed and my 17th year is already awesome. I think i will achieve so much more this year. Graduating high school and unfortunaly going on to college.

It was nice to celebrate with the family.

Thanks again guys

You know you just opened a whole can of warms with this statement. Do tell what is so unfortunate about going to college! I believe it is a terrific time of your life.

What i am about to say will open an even bigger can of worms.

I don't like college. I don't like the idea. Especially in America. I feel that its too stressful. Deadlines, fees, requirements, and must I say the SATs.

Lickly i got a chance to go for instant decision and that too 75% of the stress out of it.

Basically, here is how i feel. College has nothing that i can not learn on my own. Most of the things that i am good at today was because of me. I am best at computers and debate. Nobody taught me that.

And if i wanted to learn something new, i feel like i should be able to just go and take the class without any other credit issues, etc.

Thats my view. Lets dicuss. V-G, what are your strong points about it?

You get to live a life of a college student. Sure there are deadlines, sure there are plenty of other things that make that life a little difficult but those difficulties are important.

1. You learn teamwork in an environment where you can voice your opinion and be heard. At work you may have to shut up . It is good to learn how to work as part of a team when you cannot be fired you know!?
2. College isn't meant to teach you how to do your future job but to give you tools to be able to find answers. You get a very general overview and you can then pick what you like. Once you do that, you even know where to look for answers. It is great that way.
3. You get to have hundreds of new friends, every class you get to meet new people, hang out and have fun. It is great! College is life is the best! You should be looking forward to it.

I believe that just like with everything in life, you only get out of it as much as you are willing to put in. College stresses are nothing compared to after college worries of mortgage, children etc.

And I'll let you in on a little secret, the hottest girls are in college!

Okay,

1. Even though right now I work for a large company, I have plans for the future and those plans include me as the boss.

2. You use the word college. Its the classes and proffesors that give you the tools. College just takes your money and puts stress over you. Everything that a proffesor can teach you, you can learn online. If you really need help you could hire someone at 1/5 of the cost.

3. This may be true for others, but I personally like to have a limited network of friends. I like to have people who I can depend on. I don't need a lot of friends, and getting a few is not hard.

About girls, when im the boss I can hire those same girls. And they won't even need their college degree to get a salary.
