looking for information on Maria Demko or family . came to USA 1892. she was born 1872 . she said Austria but I think probably glacia. she was not roman catholic but her husband was. she did not speak hungarian well. her father was istvan . Her mother died 1889 when maria was seventeen and she left home. she was an only child. her father remarried again. She came over on the Zaandam, from Rotterdam May 16, 1892 to Ellis Island. she came to live with an aunt, probably her mother's sister in New York. Maybe something will trigger someones memory .
